Package arrived in small plastic bag. All of the components that I needed for a replacement were included. I had broken the pull cord internally in the original manufactures components. Other reviewers had left mentioned that they also had failure in similar parts of the Herman Miller bubble lamp which lead me to buy this one for myself. installation was a breeze all I had to do was connect two leads from wires. Happy with my replacement that was near identical to the original.
