Use for hallway and it's perfect for area with no window to keep air flowing. I would definitely recommend this light fan.We are using the fan in our garage. I think the garage is too big for the fan to cool properly. You can feel the breeze only when standing directly beneath it. The light is fantastic and so is the remote. The remote allows you to change the brightness and the fan speed and time. Even though the fan is not what we were hoping for it's a great value overall.It was very easy to install and stylish.
