The LED lighting is soft and diffused just adequate for many applications, but there are times that more light is desired to see small scratches, dings gouges and tiny voids.A brighter LED light with brightness adjustment would have made this more useful. For the price not bad but could have been sturdier.Not much good to say. It is designed in such a way that if you want to clamp it to the back of a desk the desk will need to be 4-6 inches away from the wall. The lens cover is very difficult to get open because that are no places to grip it. The weight of the magnifying lamp is so heavy that it will, in time, start drooping under the weight. Not near enough brightness.Was dropped shipped from China and had to wait a month for delivery. However, it does work as advertised, but has a too much magnification for my taste.The light is quite bright and the unit will be used in our inspection department to finalize parts that have been plated. Quality in our industry is critical and the magnifier with the great illumination makes it easy for our inspectors to quickly determine pass/fail criteria.My husband uses this light for electronics work. He loves the large lens and highly recommends it. Great magnification.Very Nice Product for the moneyA very helpful apparatus. Highly recommended.Not enough lumens. I think it specs like .9 lumens, so not bright at all. not what I wanted. I would send it back if I could.
