We bought two of these lamps. They were delivered very quickly.They came in a compact cardboard box that was ingeniously packed, and there was no damage to the product. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. No tools needed. It took 15 minutes at most to assemble the 1st lamp and 10 minutes to assemble the second.There is foot switch. There is no dimmer, but none is needed! It glows; it does not glare.The simple lines prevent visually clashing with your artwork. It doesnt look tacky. The wooden base adds beauty. The heavy metal plate at the base contributes to stability. Highly recommended this lamp.
