The lamp was difficult to assemble, took ~30 mins to assemble. It requires pliers to be able to properly assemble it. Otherwise, it resulted to be a cute floor lamp and compliments my living room nicely.The base metal plate did not align with the screw receiver end. Would not be assembled without prying open the metal housing, which seems to be glued to the weighted plate. Packed it up and returned for refund. Waste of timeThe washer to secure the lamp body to the base didn't fit on the body, and cannot be swapped in for another. The lamp is useless without this piece.Cord was too long and stuck. Couldn't move it either way.Was not easy to assemble. When it was assembled, kept falling over from not being properly balanced, although the base is weighted. Returned with full refund.Didn’t workDO NOT BUY. Very poor quality, arrived missing partsThe lamp as a whole suits our needs and assembly should be pretty straight forward but.....In the base under the metal cover is a glued in concrete disc to give the base weighted stability. The concrete disc has a hole that's supposed to line up with the metal cover so as to insert the lamp riser into the base. The lamp base was slightly misaligned at this juncture and the riser would not pass into the base. I had to take a dremel tool to grind the metal opening a bit larger to align with the concrete disc under it. Fortunately the riser was wide enough to cover this now oblong hole.This was clearly a manufacturing fault and added unnecessary time to what should have been a simple assembly. If the alignment had been more severe I would have returned the lamp. I estimate I removed about 1/8" of metal from the base. Removal of the concrete pad was not an option as possibly destructive to the metal base it was glued too.Examine this alignment before peeling off all the packing plastic on the metal pieces of the riser. If misaligned you may need to return it unfortunately.My first order of this product arrived with a distorted base components perhaps due to the shaking during the transportation - the holes on the two parts of the base for assembling the pole do not match causing difficulty in assembling the product. My second order was delivered in good condition and I did not have difficulty in assembling it. I like the design and color of this lamp. It’s great for the living room. To prevent the the base parts from getting distorted during the transportation, I’d like to suggest the manufacturer add a holding screw to hold the two parts together for transportation.The quality is not the best, but for the price it is beautiful!!J adore vraiment vraiment belle et facile à assemblerI LOVE this lamp!
