I am using this as a grow light floor lamp stant to save my little plants in winter to time. It looks nice, works perfect, but to hold heavy bulbs with e26 base is nearly impossible.LEPOWER Metal Floor Lamp, Adjustable Architect Swing Arm Standing Lamp works ok, but it is difficult to position the light in the appropriate position. It appears this is a desk lamp on a longer support. The design did not scale well.This is great floor lamp; all silver is the finish I purchased. Be sure to buy light bulbs as the lamp does not include one in it's shipping box. It's solid, the base is nice and heavy, and the screw together "mast" is solid with no wobbling or annoying play. Overall, a solid light and my user experience is good. Recommended!Shipment was very quick! The lamp was easy to assemble, although the instructions were lacking but I figured it out. It's perfect for what I purchased it for. The lamp was packed well, although the cheap styrofoam used inside the box was very brittle and it broke apart very easily getting little bits of styrofoam all over the floor.I bought this after I bought the matching desk lamp. I'm very happy with both lamps, especially given the price. I noticed someone else said in a review that the base isn't heavy enough, but I think it is -- and I weighed it. See pics, it's almost 9 lbs so pretty good! I don't like the logo on the base, I think that's really stupid. And the arm doesn't move around super smoothly, but honestly I didn't expect it would for the price. But I'm going to "set it and forget it," meaning I probably won't move these lamps too much. And you can't see the base of the floor lamp in my room anyway, so I guess I'll overlook the logo.I've gotten several compliments on the lamps from friends. They're quite neat looking, and now my home office has a "theme" and I didn't have to spend hundreds of dollars. They're sharp looking in person and I'm glad I bought them. See my review of the desk lamp too! The "bell" or whatever it's called, that protects the lamp, is kind of "short" so a 100 Watt equivalent LED bulb sticks out the end a bit, but oh well. I'm happy that I didn't spend a lot of time or money on these lamps.Oh yeah, there's a plastic ring you have to unscrew during setup, it's around where you screw in the bulb, in order to attach the "bulb" to the head.I don't get anything for writing this review by the way, I buy a lot of stuff here on Amazon and am just trying to be helpful!I purchased this lamp to serve as an aesthetically-pleasing grow light in a dark area of my house where I wanted a large houseplant. It is the perfect size and design for this purpose. I love how it looks with my White Bird of Paradise.It had a problem with the size of the lamp shade, though. It was entirely too small for a regular size light bulb or any of the grow bulbs I could find. You will need a very small bulb if you don't want the bulb sticking out from the bottom of the lamp shade. I personally found this unacceptable for the size lamp. One inch longer and the lamp shade that came with the lamp would have been sufficient.While shopping at a craft store, I found metal lamp shades on clearance so I took a chance that one would replace the too-small shade that came with the lamp. Not quite. I had to file out the hole about 1/16th of an inch all the way around, almost 1/8th of an inch to make the socket collar fit through. I altered the new lamp shade, put it all together, and it is the perfect size for this lamp, and what the lamp should have come with to start with.You can see the differences in sizes in the pictures I uploaded. The first picture is the shade that came with the lamp. The second picture is the new shade which is easily 3 times larger and just perfect.Was this lamp worth what I paid for it? Absolutely! It is a great-looking lamp, albeit inexpensive in craftsmanship. I got what I paid for and was not out much for the lamp shade upgrade (clearance). Just be aware of the bulb size limitations unless you don't mind your bulb sticking out beyond the lamp shade or want to change the lamp shade yourself.I like the price, how well it is made, ease of assembly. I wish it came in black. I would buy again and recommend to others.Was easy to assemble and has worked fairly well. I have a pretty long and heavy specialized bulb in it and the joints on the arms can’t be tightened as much as I would like and so the arm holding the light tends to sag. If you use shorter bulbs then I’m sure the center of gravity wouldn’t cause it to sag as much. It seems that it could be built with screw or something that one could really tighten down more firm. Overall I’m happy with it and it looks good and has a thin profile so it doesn’t take up much room.Llegó tal como se muestra en la foto, solo hay que ajustar bien el foco porque no encendió la primera vez que lo puse, pero ajustando lo mejor encendió sin problema.En la base se muestra la marca de la lampara lo cual no está tan padre.La verdad luce bastante bien en mi habitación. Muy facil de ensamblar. Tal vez el unico pero es que el cono de la lámpara pudiera quedar un poco corto (dependiendo del foco que se use) y podría quedar un poco salido haciendo que sea muy incandescente la luz. Aun así no me arrepiento y estoy satisfecho con mi compra.El material con la que está construida es de muy buena calidad, el armado bastante solido, funcional y le da un toque clásico al espacio donde se coloque. El único pero es que las perillas con las que fijas el brazo son de plástico, tienes que apretar con fuerza porque de otra manera la campana se mueve con cualquier movimiento, pero una vez que lo fijas fuerte ya no se mueve, espero que con el tiempo no se desgaste el plástico, sería una pena ya que la lámpara en general es de lo mejor.This is a quality lamp. But be aware the shade is short, so if you are using a longer bulb it sticks out past shade edge and shade doesnt cut off light spread.
