No joke, this light is the single best item I have purchased all year. And it’s December! I’ve had it now for about 4 months and I am obsessed with it. I originally purchased this because I took a new job which requires about 3 months of travel per year and I have to get up every day when it’s very dark. I have smart light bulbs that go on at home when I wake up and I was worried that without them, I might not wake up on time for work.I did a lot of research and searched for a solution under $75. It had to be easy to travel with, light enough to put in my suitcase without adding extra weight for the airlines, and bright. I looked at sunrise alarm clocks and baby night lights but nothing fit all my requirements. Then the Amazon algorithm gods suggested this to me. I’m so grateful! This has blown me away.The light is BRIGHT. I keep it set on the highest brightness and I can basically do my whole morning routine (sans makeup) just by this light alone if I wanted to. It’s very light weight. I have taken it on 7 flights (checked bag and carry on), both without any issue. It was easy to set and the very best part is that when you unplug it, it remembers the settings and the time! I sometimes change hotels daily, so I unplug it a lot. The fact that I don’t have to keep reprogramming it is absolutely fabulous! I’ve started taking it on personal travel (excellent for an interior cruise room) and now have it plugged in at my house because I actually like it better than my expensive smart lights. (Granted, they do different things and this isn’t “smart”) but I love how bright it is when I wake up. It does have an alarm that makes some little noises. I don’t use that feature but they don’t seem incredibly loud. If you’re a person who needs to be jolted out of bed, this is not the alarm for you but it’s nice that it remembers the alarm time daily.The light is sturdy, collapses very flat for packing and is super light weight. I’m tempted to buy a second one of these as a backup in fear that someday mine will die and I’ll be without one.Absolutely recommend this product. 5 solid stars!
