La mejor compra para mi trabajo.I had problems with this lamp since the start. The lamp looks nice and feels quality but don't let that fool you. The arm and the base are very sturdy however the points where they connect are cheap plastic. HELLO!... You can't have heavy, moving, metal pieces connected by cheap plastic. It makes ZERO engineering sense. The unit isn't balanced so tips over easily unless used completely in the upright position. The plug always felt loose and the lamp went on and off any time the cord or lamp were touched. The light would come on by itself; not fun in the middle of the night. Also the lamp and the plug get very hot, to the point of smelling burning plastic. The base connection cracked first, duct taped it to continue using, sexy. Then last night the lamp completely broke off. Don't buy this lamp until they fix it!!I work for a friend putting together jewelry she designs. This is perfect for making sure the connectors are closed properly and that the chain or pendant is properly made before attaching them. Love it.I am very pleased with this lighted magnifier. The base is heavy enought that it stays in place. The gooseneck is very flexible. The light is nice and bright without glaring. I have macular degeneration and I find it very helpful with hand sewing and various tasks.Love the touch switch, zero pressure. Brightness sometimes variable.Really dislike glare from white ring around outside bottom.Worst feature.Great as a desk lamp,but glare and optics make me wish it was better.Perfect form and fit.All in all this is a very good magnifying lamp. However, I thought it was misleading to call the power plug a "Charging Jack". This led me to believe, as well as others I'm sure, that this is a chargeable lamp capable of operating independently of a power cord. Not the case. The lamp must be plugged into a power source to operate. IT IS NOT CHARGEABLE. Otherwise, as I said, good lamp. Little spendy for what it is but, I'll keep it!This connects with USB. I have yet to figure out how the light vs brightness mechanism works. and I have to say I'm pretty handy. Its a touch thing but how it works is a mystery as it will go super bright or dim or shut off its very erratic. the magnifying glass is mediocre.. i use it on my desk for backlighting monitors or to have a dim light on the keyboard so it' s not useless.I've had this magnifying lamp for 2 years. The magnifying lamp part busted this morning. I take care of my stuff and am wondering if it's too much to ask for stuff to last longer than this. Have had issues with this contraption the whole time. Sometimes it wouldn't stay on. Sometimes it wouldn't go any brighter than dim. Switched out the A/C plug for the USB and that seemed to help, but still had troubles with it just switching off on its own.The company needs to check the wiring on this lamp, as well as make the magnifying lamp material out of stronger stuff so that it doesn't bust (the lens/lamp part is heavy). Will be looking for a new one FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY because the window for support and return is long gone.
