This lamp really turned out nice with having a very sturdy base, however the lamp shade is a little different. Not quite what we see in traditional floor lamp shades. It comes rolled up but does roll out nicely and the wire wire attaches to the light bulb and then the clips on the lamp shade attach to the clips on the shade. The shade has velcro on each end to hold the circle closure of the shade. The shade is fine for the extra bedroom but if in a family room, I would probably buy another shade. The romote was easy to assemble to pair with the lamp and works great. All in all for the price purchase, I think it is a fantastic product! Amazon did it great again!! I really like shopping on Amazon!
