My wife is always setting our dining room table with battery operated fake candles. I'm constantly finding new batteries, or recharging batteries for this use.This candle is a gem. It charges a built-in battery using a USB cable and turns ON or OFF using a switch on the bottom side. It also has four levels of brightness, changed by tapping the top of the candle, unlike the fake candles my wife has used in the past.The candle is solidly built and looks nice. My only complaint is that the price is higher than I would have expected to pay.Good looking. Takes a few hours to fully charge but lasts more than a whole evening.The first clue that you're getting a superior product is the top-notch, secure packaging. The lamp is beautifully made, of what appear to be quality materials. Nice touch: the rubber bottom that keeps it in place and protects surfaces. The lamp functions exactly as described; the dimming control works like a charm. And the brief, informative instructions are written in actual English.Is it a bit expensive? No question. But when you see and use the lamp, you'll understand why it's worth the price. You can pay far less, and get far less. Don't.bought these as they are rechargeable , less battery usage, look smart , stable - wont tip in windy conditions and they offer 4 levels of light brightness to meet the mode / light you need.Dimmer with 4 stages very practical. Great modern look, does not take much room even on a small table. Long lasting with a recharge. Quick recharge also.I needed lights for my patio table that gave a soft diffused light on everyone’s faces and could withstand a light breeze. These are perfect!! Love them in every way and my guests always comment on them too.We bought these to put in the motor home. If we are dining outside and want to "ambiance up" the picnic table, we use these. Love the rechargeable battery. This light looks great (for what we use it for).Excellent delivery service, as promised. Compact, light , selectable light intensities, ease of use and very good looking. Intend to use during power failures and on patio in summer. Recommend!Bought this light for a variety of uses and we are very pleased with it. Easy to use, looks great and the range of brightness is great.The lamp looks nice and battery last quite a long time. But the metal cover came off really easy. It has a sticker warning not to disassemble the metal cover. But it came off when I was only holding the lamp, not even trying to disassemble it. I hope the glue is stronger than this.A great alternative to candles gives a nice lightGreat value
