Very cute, versatile and easy to use. For my purposes, it's perfect. The light is pretty decent, but if I was trying to read a paperback book before bed, the light might be a little dimmer than I'd prefer. Normally, I read on a backlit screen, though, so this hasn't been an issue for me.The real reason I bought this lamp is because I have cats that like to chew through certain types of cords and knock over things on my nightstand, so I've been looking for a cordless lamp to replace my old corded lamp. This was the answer. While in use/open it has a nice warm light and when I'm ready for lights out, I can shut it and my cats don't destroy it. Win! I hope this lasts for a long time.
