Perfect small lamp for subtle lighting. It's not quite enough light to read with, but it would work great as night light to see walking aroud. I just love it. It's from Turkey and made of quality material. You'll need 2 AA batteries. You DON'T need to buy bulbs. It's LED. It only needs batteries. I live in a van to travel and this was the perfect size. It makes it feel so cozy.Old world elegance and craftsmanship!! Bought several more after the 1st one arrived!I love the Craftsmanship! Unfortunately I did not read the description closely enough and did not realize it was battery-operated. Luckily it was quite easy to convert it to a hardwired lamp.Very colorful and beautiful.Cured my depression! Ha! JK, but it does make me happy to look at it. I love this lamp use it as a night light for my little one. We also take it to festivals as part of our glamping set up. It is super nice for creating ambiance when you don’t have electrical outlets.Very nice. Good construction (except the spring clamps are so strong that they slightly warp the metal top but it can be corrected with minimal to moderate effort).I absolutely love it though. I used a battery adapter so I could use a wall plug to leave it on all the time.I love this lamp it’s so pretty. We have it on a side table in the lounge where there are no plug sockets. It’s not bright enough for reading but it’s very pretty when lit and gives off a warm glow. Downside I found it quite hard to push in the springs to attach the lid and shade and was worried that I would crack the shade. My husband and I did it between us. I’m thinking about purchasing another in a different colour.Love this . Unpacked, put together and added batteries and then just put it on when needed. Is very pretty and no need to worry about electrics. Colours vibrant and pretty, well worth the money as the construction and use of coloured glass is as good as can be.I loved the portability of it being battery but everything you get with a Turkish lamp, although found it a little difficult to get clips in, Turkish lamps are always like this but not easy to clip in, bit me several times so you may need helpThis is a beautiful lamp and can be used in living room, hallway, bedrooms.
