Finial finishes come with a protective lacquer coating which protects the finials against discoloration and tarnishing and will not require polishing. All RDI finials are female threaded individually to fit standard harps. Easy to install, unplug your lamp and remove the old finial by turning counterclockwise. I purchased these glass finials for a new cut glass base lamp I bought and they are absolutely stunning. I only needed one but they are sold in pairs so I used the second finial on another lamp that I had. That too looked beautiful.
